Be ready to learn about combining these mediums with other materials, surfaces and methods to achieve exciting results. Since there are no dangerous fumes or heat like encaustic painting, you can take what you learn straight back to your studio. No matter if you are an abstract or realistic painter, the oil and cold wax process can be applied.
Each day will include painting demos in the morning and afternoon. Some demos will include information on how to design and think about painting abstractly. In between demos, Doris will work individually with students to discover goals and style, plus you will have lots of painting time on your own.
