LSAG Connect: Bayou City Art Fest THIS Weekend

Our Fall Community CONNECT Event is... (drum roll, please)
Bayou City Art Festival Downtown

WHY WE CHOSE THIS
as the Fall Community Connect Event:

BCAF is one of the Top 10 fine art fests in the nation, and it is right here in our own backyard!  Dare we say it is as "Quintessential Houston" as the Rodeo?!  With 20,000 attendees of all ages in a 2 day period visiting over 300 artists working in 19 different mediums, it is easy to see why.  There is sure to be a variety of inspiration!  Music, food, beverages, and a kid zone round out the experience.
In case you miss this one, BCAF Memorial Park is held each spring.  Be sure to make one of them, and get a taste of Houston at its finest!  Bring some LSAG friends from your league or a fellow league, take some photos, and send a brief synopsis of your experience to us with a photo or two, and we'll add it to the newsletter.

Community Connect Events are recommended art related events in our greater community we feel our readers need to be aware of & encouraged to participate in.  We select 2 or 3 each year typically one in each of the fall, winter, and spring.  It is our hope that members will join others to attend and be inspired by fellow artists or a new medium.  In turn, we hope they will share their experiences and tell our greater guild to pass on the inspiration and help it multiply.
