LSAG: News & Notables

LSAG announces the 2016 Convention:
Friday and Saturday, July 29 & 30, 2016
Klein ISD Multipurpose Facility

This year's convention will feature inspiring demo artists, the luncheon, and of course the juried show. The luncheon and meeting will also feature a new slate of awards.  Look for more details in future newsletters.

Please note that with the database, we are not able to carry wins over to a future art year's convention.

All fall & winter show wins should already be reported.
Spring shows held up to April 24 need to be reported by April 30.
Late spring shows must be held no later than May 21and must be reported no later than May 24.  ALL wins for eligibility in this year's convention MUST be reported by May 24 ---no exceptions.

As you make your plans for the 2016-17 art year, please see closing dates on the LSAG website.  This is so a June convention can be considered.

Calling for Photos:
Photos needed of convention & its planning for the 2014 and 2015 conventions.  If you have such photos, send them as jpegs to Suzanne at suzseiler@att.net .  Describe your photos in the body of your email.  This is for LSAG Convention & planning of convention photos ONLY; do NOT send pictures from your league shows or meetings.

LSAG Open Spring Meeting:  Save the Date
April 30th   *  This will be a formal business meeting of upcoming LSAG business & a communication session for convention.

If you have a question, please ask it during the month of April PRIOR to the meeting.  We have much to cover in the meeting, and in consideration of everyone's time, and in consideration of our time limits at the venue, questions that can be answered in advance or in our notes to be handed out at the meeting is the most efficient way to cover all areas.  Send questions to the president at   lsagpresident@gmail.com  no later than April 23rd, one week prior to the meeting.  They will either be answered via email the week before the meeting or in the meeting notes.

LSAG Needs YOU to Volunteer:
