How to Read the LSAG Newsletter

This message is to assist members in reading the newsletter.  The newsletter & the blog are the same thing.  The newsletter that you get in your email box each week on Tuesday is a page with a series of brief articles in a blogged format.  That email has to be clicked on in some way for you to get all of the information on any given article.  You will NOT get all of the info by looking strictly at the email alone.

Please note:  This is an explanatory post & includes some events that may have passed to  help you see HOW to read the post---NOT as information.  Please see the current newsletter for the most updated info.

To read the entire newsletter IN FULL, click on the link VISIT LSAG'S BLOG which will be on the upper right side of the email.  Once you click on that, you will see a watercolor abstract page.  If you don't, you are not on the blog main page.  You may have to click on Older Posts at the bottom to read the rest of that week's newsletter if it doesn't fit on one page.  Notice the publishing date to follow if an article is from that week or from a past week.

WHERE'S THE DATE?

Read the date of the event, the registration deadline date, or other important date information in the body of the post or the headline / title.  Do not mistake the publishing date under the title for a date relating to the event.  The best way to avoid confusion is to click on the event you are interested in & read it.

Reminders:

-Submissions must be sent to   lsagannouncements@gmail.com.  Emails sent to other addresses will likely NOT be received in time.

-The best posts are simple emails.  JPEGS---the only attachment we can use--are best for a photo to embellish the text in your email.  JPEG documents often come out fuzzy & unclear.

-Leagues should combine multiple announcements when possible.  Show announcements always are separate.

-ANYone can submit ANY ART related announcement.  YOU or someone in your league is responsible for re-posting.  We do not re-post.

-Your submission is NOT instantly posted; it must be PUBLISHED.  As such, allow at least a week's time when considering a posting.  We do not post events that have passed.

-The deadline each & every week is SUNDAY MIDNIGHT.  Publishing typically occurs on a Monday, & the newsletter is sent out on a Tuesday afternoon.

-Edit & check your post before sending.  Corrections / additions need to be RE-sent with the full text corrected &/or any details added.  While we will make some grammatical corrections, it is time dependent.

-In the subject line of your post email, give the important, updated info:  the league or organization, the event, the date.
