Easy to transport or work on in small places, colored pencils are ideal for the artist who loves drawing, art journaling, mixed media, and more.
In this class we will begin by learning basic techniques of blending, shading, color selection, and composition by beginning with a simple floral. Later we will move on and add landscapes, animals, and still life to the mix…each subject will add another technique to the artist's toolbox.
For the first class project you may choose pansies, a sunflower, or poppy.
I recommend Prismacolor Premier pencils to begin as they are professional level, easily blended, and widely available. We will discuss other brands as we continue. Contact me for the recommended supply list before you buy pencils or other tools! lp313combs54@hotmail.com
