Alton Cooper's work is unique in that he paints on glass, then reverses the glass and frames the piece, creating a beautiful shiny finish with bold abstract designs.

Serenity Studios, 1331 Yale St., Houston welcomes you to join them for one of their group or private classes in a variety of disciplines including fiber arts, painting, pottery, drawing, meditation, papercrafts, kids classes and much more. They also offer studio space available for rent by the hour, day, week or month, special event rentals, kiln and wheel rental in their pottery barn, painting parties, and original artwork for sale by Houston Local Artists.

Artist Charles Wallis comes to Sean Anthony Salons in April
Charles Wallis is a master painter that paints primarily contemporary impressionists pieces. He is a graduate of the Baylor University
Fine Art Program. His paintings reflect a mastery of his craft and versatility in styles and media.
ARTIST STATEMENT: My art is an expression of my spirit to the spirit of others that connect with it. I seek to create a memory, a wish, a fantasy
or moment of joy or peace in the soul of the viewer. I pursue ideas, color combinations or images that attract my attention and paint them as an impression; or abstraction and some paintings are just for the fun of presenting something in an unusual manner.

After School Painting Party at Maud Marks Library in Katy
Teens celebrate Spring and new life with a painting party at Maud Smith Marks Library located at 1815 Westgreen Blvd., Katy on April 4 at 4:30pm. All Teens are welcome. We will be painting "Cozy Nest" using acrylic paint on canvas with the background sponge technique. All artwork must be family friendly, professionally finished, ready to hang with wires, and for sale.
There is a $20 per piece installation fee + 25% sales commission.
Artists may bring their business cards.
