Sana is a mystical artist by nature, who loves to transcend the boundaries of perceived reality into the realm of creative expression that teleports the innate artist to commune with all that is beautiful and divine. She believes, there are musical undertones that reside within all of us, and that true art brings forth the awareness of our own original musical tones of authentic self. The art of allowing the viewer to see the microcosm of all that lies within, with all that lies without, while integrating the two worlds into one, creates powerful unity.
Painting a flowy pattern within the boundaries of symmetry will allow the painter to get a visual feel of the dynamics of nature and all that is living and the cosmic structure of the universe. We are like leaves individually yet collectively blooming on a magnificent tree of life. Yet also like the stars on a dark night, individually placed with great order and mystery.

Through one of the most therapeutic meditative art forms out there, she will guide you through the steps of how to paint your own leaf motif consisting of an arabesque pattern (the art of stylized abstract yet geometric patterns of nature) on tea dyed watercolor paper, using acrylic inks. Along with trying your hand at a biomorphic bird pattern composed of Arabic calligraphy.

In collaboration with 'The Woodlands Art League's and Warriors in Art Singing Tree community art project which will be completed at the Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival in April, this could be a fun way to incorporate these birds and leaves on the mural.
