Here is a snapshot of how your support made a difference in 2017:
- Over 7,000 students attending Title-1 schools in the Conroe & Magnolia ISDs were exposed to the arts through in-school performances by the Houston Grand Opera; field trips to fine arts museums; and cultural experiences with Art Around The World lead by the talented artists from The Woodlands Children's Museum.
- Interactive workshops facilitated by Dan the Drummer at Conroe and The Woodlands area assisted living and memory care facilities; Texas Children's Hospital-The Woodlands; and Montgomery County Juvenile Detention Center.
- Twenty-one thousand ($21,000) distributed in scholarships to art students who attend private, public or home schools located in Montgomery County.
We are proud of all we have accomplished and look forward with renewed enthusiasm to the exciting possibilities for 2018.
