ALB: December Events with the Art League of Baytown

The Art League of Baytown is very proud to be an active part of our community, the Texas Avenue area historic Goose Creek shopping district and the A.C.E. District Small Business Alliance (A.C.E. = Arts Culture and Entertainment District).  In addition, we work closely with the City of Baytown.  As a result, we are participating in a number of fun events throughout the month of December.  Please join us for the following exciting events:

v  City of Baytown Art Show and Golden 50th Anniversary (Friday, December 1^st.  6-9pm at Baytown Community Center)

v  City Art Show Continued + Art & Crafts Market (Saturday, December 2^nd.  10am-4pm at Baytown Community Center) featuring booths of original art & crafts from local makers.  The market is a fundraising event for the Art League of Baytown

v  City Christmas Parade down Texas Avenue (Thursday, December 7, 6:30-9:30pm) visit the Art League of Baytown before and during the parade for face painting, kid's arts and crafts projects and to purchase snacks, drinks, art, gifts, and raffle tickets.

v  Parks & Recreation Christmas Movie Night at Town Square (Friday, December 8, 6-10pm) "The Polar Express", "How the Grinch Stole Christmas", and "Elf"

v  20^th Annual Christmas on Texas Avenue Festival  (Saturday, December 9^th, 10am-6pm) This is an exciting annual event featuring vendor booths, food trucks, entertainment, photos with Santa, and a variety of family friendly activities.  Visit the Art League of Baytown at The Art Center and at our outdoor booths for face painting, child and adult arts and crafts projects, a sidewalk chalk art competition, and to purchase snacks, drinks, art, gifts, and raffle tickets.

v  Farmer's and Holiday Market  (Saturday, December 16, 8am-Noon) visit the Art League of Baytown at The Art Center and at our booth to purchase art, gifts, raffle tickets.

v  Sunday, December 17^th, 2-4pm.  Membership General Meeting and Christmas Party at the Art Center of Baytown
