ALB: 65th Annual Christmas Gift Gallery / Call to Artists

Are you looking for a unique gift for someone special?  Do you need a fantastic piece of art to decorate your home or workplace?  Do you like to support the work of local artists and their charitable programs?  If you answered yes to any of these questions, then the 65th Annual Christmas Gift Gallery at the Art Center of Baytown is a must see.

Each year, in addition to the wonderful art that is always available at the Art Center, local artists and artisans set up impressive displays of hand crafted gift items, holiday décor and more for the Art League of Baytown's Christmas Gift Gallery.  Choose from original artwork, handmade cards, Christmas ornaments and décor, pottery, jewelry, hand-painted wine glasses, and a variety of other items.  A portion of all sales go toward funding programs such as the Rising Stars art class for special needs adults, art workshops for Shriner's Burn Hospital in Galveston, and scholarships to graduating seniors pursuing further art education.

The Christmas Gift Gallery at the Art Center of Baytown opens November 8th and continues through Christmas.  New items are added throughout that time, so visit often.  The Art Center is located at 110 W. Texas Avenue in Baytown and is open to the public Wednesday through Friday, 10-4 and Saturdays, 10-1.  And in December, the Art Center will be open additional days and hours:  Monday through Saturday, 10-4 and Sundays 1-4.
