In case you haven't already heard, the
Taste of Houston Festival
has been moved to October 14th and 15th and will now be a benefit for the flood victims here in the greater Houston Area!
100% of the ticket proceeds are being donated to the JJ Watt Fund set up through his foundation.which has as of today raised over 27 MILLION for Harvey relief! We are hoping to be able to add a good chunk to that fund through this event.
In addition to the ticket sales proceeds, all proceeds from the Carnival rides will be going to a special fund to help out several First Responders who lost everything this past week.
All advertising has been changed to reflect the new dates.
Right around 9,000 tickets have already been sold in advance and all tickets for the originally scheduled date will be honored!
In addition, anyone who has already donated to the JJ Watt Fund and has not purchased a ticket need only show us proof of their donation and they will be allowed in FREE!
