New Group formed to fund Hurricane relief: Artists of Montgomery County
In the wake of the devastation left behind by Hurricane Harvey,
artists from Montgomery County have formed
"Artists of Montgomery County"
to sponsor and coordinate flood relief fundraisers for our communities.
The cleanup and recovery efforts will be long-term,
and our group is committed to helping our neighbors and friends throughout the process
with "pop-up" events, art auctions, and an online sales gallery, dedicating its profits to flood relief.
All artists are welcome and encouraged to participate; you do not have to be a member of an art league!
We will be needing volunteers for our steering committee who can help with publicity, events, social media, and general organization.
