The Woodlands Art Council: Crush Wine Bar--Wednesdays

Do you ever wonder about the public art in The Woodlands? From outdoor statues, mosaics at local parks and plazas, to the increasing number of art benches along the Waterway, outdoor art is everywhere, making this community noticed nationally for its commitment to art.
This Wednesday at Crush Wine Lounge (Waterway Ave, above Grimaldi's) from 7-9 PM, join local art lovers to discuss a piece of public art that has always had some wondering...an art bench titled "Crete". Is it just a lovely piece of sculpture or is it a place to rest one's weary bones? Can one sit on it...and how? Join in the sometimes irreverent discussion and learn more about Crete, then tell everyone how you really feel about this bench. Read the Woodlands Art Council member, Nickole Bobley's blog post about her reaction to this bench...and others...in her blog at : http://www.thewoodlandsartscouncil.org/my-fathers-shoehorn
