While learning the basics of working with clay, you will make a small hand-formed pot and a sculpture with wire and wood armature.Weeks 3 and 4: Mache clay
Switch to Mache Clay for the next two weeks and continue to expand your skills. Mache clay can be sanded, painted or left in it's natural state for unusual folk and faux effects.
Weeks 5 and 6: Assemblage
Add wood, wire, glass, metal and found items to your clays to create one of a kind 3-D art!

Using a limited palette this
relaxed course will introduce the novice to color mixing and the basic properties of acrylic
paints, while guiding you to
