WAL: Groups, Classes, and Waterway!

Woodlands Waterway Art Festival - April 7th, 8th, and 9th

Volunteer spots still available! Get a 3 Day Pass and T-shirt for donating just four hours of your time to help the Woodlands Arts Council and the partner charities support art  throughout the Woodlands, and surrounding communities. This year the Woodlands Art League is partnering with Cassidy Joined for Hope, an organization dedicated to  awareness of  the high incidence of teen and young adult suicide in Montgomery and Harris Counties, and to partnering with community organizations, schools, and churches to prevent more tragedies. Our Community Art Project is Hearts for Hope, an assemblage of small paintings by festival attendees, which will be made into a large piece to display in the community. We would love to have fellow artists volunteer to work for the festival in our name; some of the donation we receive from this year's festival will be used to fund projects or events for non-profits like this. All the charity partners are worthy, and what helps one of us, helps us all, so if you choose another cause, please stop by our booth to add some paint to the project...and if you cannot volunteer, please attend so the Woodlands Arts Council can continue sponsoring what is now one of
the best arts festivals in the nation. For information go to : http://www.thewoodlandsartscouncil.org
