Mary Lowe is the demo artist at the general meeting on March 23rd, followed by a mini-workshop entitled "Spring Flower Garden Necklace." Participants will create their own French-style beaded wirework fantasy flower necklace from lampwork art glass floral headpins, wire, Italian hammered brass chain, and vintage and collectible glass and metal flower beads. No jewelry making experience is necessary. A complete kit (many colors to choose from) is provided for each student, and shared tools and extra supplies will be available for classroom use. Each participant will leave with a unique finished necklace! The workshop fee is $50 for members, $55 for non-members and includes all materials. The meeting and workshop will be at the Fort Bend Art Center, 2012 Avenue G, Rosenberg, TX 77471.
