The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival is a juried fine arts festival. A diverse array of artists, the core of what makes our festival such a success, are juried into our festival and apply through Zapplications. The deadline to apply is October 20, 2018 at midnight CST.

Fifth/Sixth Graders Enjoy Summertime Creativity
|
|
|
Fifth and sixth grade students participated in The Woodlands Arts Council free workshop on July 28 at The Woodlands Mall. Eighteen students created assemblages inspired by their personal favorite movie or video game using pre-drawn templates designed by Chloe Pascual and Parker Howard, who are students from The Woodlands High School.

Waste Connections has elected to adopt Title-1 school Glen Loch Elementary in The Woodlands, TX

We spotlighted "The Family" Sculpture by Artist Charles Pebworth

Crush Wine Lounge was a happening place for the July ArtFeel that focused on the sculpture located at The Woodlands Parkway entrance from I-45. Guests shared their thoughts about "The Family," enjoyed no cover and half-price appetizers while sharing a love of art. ArtFeel will take a vacation this month, but look for details for its return in the fall. #BecauseArtMatters

Art Bench Project Expands to Hughes Landing

The Woodlands Arts Council (TWAC) is proud to announce that Phase IV of its Art Bench Project will include sites in The Woodlands' newest urban venue, Hughes Landing on Lake Woodlands. TWAC is now seeking underwriters for six new art benches that will be added to a collection of 20 already situated on or near The Woodlands Waterway including six planned for installation in the Fall of 2018. The deadline for underwriting an Art Bench in this fourth phase is December 1, 2018. Click here to learn more about our Art Bench Project.
