FORT BEND ART CENTER - CURRENT EVENTS       SUMMER 2018

The Fort Bend Art Center, announces their summer line-up of art happenings at their new facility: 2012 Avenue G in Rosenberg Texas.

Upcoming events:
Hot Summer, Cool Nights Art Extravagana - June 9th, July 14th, and August 11th from 6-9 pm, featuring live music by The Bronco Band, food truck, an after-hours peek at the ALFB Members and Made W Butler Art Galleries, studio artists in action with live demos, whiskey tasting complements of local craft distillery 512 Whiskey.  The events are free and open to the public.

About the Fort Bend Art Center
The Fort Bend Art Center is a multi-arts center managed by members of the Art League of Fort Bend located at 2012 Avenue G in Rosenberg, Texas. The vibrant Center functions as a shared-space for artists and art enthusiasts to create art, exhibit art work and experience art through art shows, exhibits and learning opportunities. Art studios are rented by over a dozen artists-in-residence, and visiting artists may provide classes by renting one of the instructional workshop rooms. The Fort Bend Art Center was established in November 2017 by the Art League of Fort Bend, and held their grand opening event in February 2018.  The Center is open Monday thru Saturday from 10 am to 5 pm, and Sundays from 1 pm to 5 pm. About the Art League of Fort Bend
The Art League of Fort Bend is a 501(c)3 organization founded in 1957 to create a community place for all artists to create, study and exhibit their art, and to stimulate interest and appreciation of the achievements of local artists. Membership is open to the beginner, professional, and art enthusiasts. The ALFB has over 170 members, artists and art enthusiasts who work in a wide variety of creative mediums: oil painting, watercolors, acrylic and mixed media, sculpture, photography, digital art, jewelry, print making, handblown glass, woodworks, studio fine crafts and more. A creative writing special interest group is forming, and the league is constantly adding new creative outlets. The ALFB brings art to the greater Fort Bend area with outstanding exhibitions, world-class instruction and dedicated community outreach.
