Citta della Pieve is a charming medieval village, situated in a panoramic position, located in the Umbrian Region on the border of Tuscany.
Painting in Italy will be lead by Painter Vie Dunn-Harr. Every style and approach welcomed. Although, there will be instruction in technique,
color, and design for those interested, the focus of this workshop will not be on painting a particular way as much as one's perception, creative
expression, and the unique voice of each artist. We will strive to discover the path which leads to the next plateau in our journey as artists.
We will work plein air and in the studio. No oils please, Vie is allergic. Our studio space is housed in the Oratory of San Bartolomeo, built
around 1326. Within the studio space is the Gothic fresco "Sorrow of the Angels" painted by Jacopo Mino del Pellicciaio of the Sienese School
of thought.
Exploring and creating are lovely companions, as are artists and Italy.
