ALB: Eclectic Art Exhibition July 19 - Aug 26

The Art League of Baytown will host an exhibit of eclectic art July 19 - August 26 at The Art Center of Baytown.

Also on display is the CAMEO Eclectic Clay Teapot Collection.

The definition of eclectic is: deriving ideas, style, or taste from a broad and diverse range of sources. With regard to art, eclectic is emotional, exciting, thrilling, unusual, one-of-a-kind...Different!

Baytownians and neighbors from surrounding communities have loaned pieces from their personal collections for inclusion in this exhibit.

This Eclectic Art Exhibit is the brainchild of Baytown Businessman, Jay Eshbach, who has a diverse collection of original art, both recent and dated. He contacted the Art League of Baytown about hosting an exhibit of eclectic art and suggested that we put the word out to the Baytown community to see if there were other collectors who would loan their artwork for this exhibit. The response has been phenomenal. We know you will enjoy seeing this diverse collection.

The Art Center of Baytown is located at 110 W. Texas Avenue.
Open Wednesday - Friday, 10 am - 4 pm
Saturday 10 am - 1 pm

Art League of Baytown appreciates those who have loaned their artwork for this exhibit: Jay and Kay Eshbach, Donna and John Britt, Susan Pinkerton, Teresa Fraga, Marty Haynes, Wendy Messerschmidt, Ronn Haddox, Ronnie Anderson, Kathy Freeman, Jimmy Johnson, Victoria Fayle, Keith Coburn. Artists who have loaned their own creations: Gary Gardner, Billie Brinkley, Genie Ginzel, Steve Knight, Karen Knight, Marsha Landers, Ann Messerschmidt Pond. We also want to recognize our partner in these Collector's Shows, CAMEO (Clay Arts Museum and Educational Organization), this being our fourth Collector's Show. Also on display is the CAMEO Eclectic Clay Teapot Collection.
