Special Note on Photographs vs. Digital Art when using photographs: Please note the differences & register appropriately. For a more detailed explanation, visit the LSAG website: Shows then ENTER.
-If you have used special effects, much editing, manipulating, and adjusting to create your art POST snapping the shutter, it is Digital Art.
-If your photograph is largely untouched & your creativity is AT THE TIME of the snapping the shutter, then it is likely a piece to enter in Photography.
-We reserve the right to request seeing the original jpeg of the image.
You are only hurting yourself when you register it inappropriately. ***Please note: Not all Digital Art even includes photography. This note is for those that do.
Special Note on Diptychs & Triptychs:
Diptychs & Triptychs that are entered in the database MUST be entered as ONE piece only. By definition, these are 2 & 3 parts of a WHOLE, SINGLE piece.
Artists & Database Mgrs.:
-List the name of the piece, the complete size including ALL pieces together as one unit.
-Put in parentheses the word diptych or triptych behind the title. (see examples below)
-Those entering are subject to the prospectus of the member club & their payment schedule regarding these special pieces. It is the prerogative of the club if they charge as they wish, but LSAG recognizes it as ONE piece.
